Neuhausen and Nymphenburg are two of the more relaxing districts in Munich, where the atmosphere causes residents and visitors alike to forget they are in a city of over a million, and just 10 minutes away from the centre though. Neuhausen is virtually undiscovered by tourists even though it is home to a popular night club (m-park) and the world’s largest beer garden called Hirschgarten („Deer Garden“). What’s more astounding is that, while millions of tourists flock to Munich in the summer months and September and October for the Munich Oktoberfest, few find their way to the tranquil gardens of Munich’s awesome Nymphenburg Palace/Castle which actually is in a comfortable walking distance from our 3 room apartment/flat.
In Munich-Neuhausen you’ll find

many welcoming cafes, bars and restaurants
theatre, fitness centre, small parks and beer gardens
Public transport in Munich-Neuhausen is excellent:
